On May 19, 2025, the "Digital Empowerment · Cultural Rebirth" 2025 International Museum Day Exchange and Seminar, hosted by Yiyun Digital Art Center, organized by Yiyun Technology, and jointly supported by Wangfujing Group Co., Ltd., People's Creativity, and BOE History Exhibition Hall, was successfully held at Yiyun Digital Art Center (Wangfujing).
Experts from major cultural venues such as the National Museum of China, the Cultural Relics Protection and Management Center of Xicheng District, the Beijing Museum of Ancient Architecture, and the China Millennium Monument, scholars from universities such as the Central Academy of Fine Arts, Communication University of China, and Beijing Institute of Graphic Communication, as well as inheritors of intangible cultural heritage in various fields gathered together to jointly explore the symbiotic path of new digital technologies and the revitalization of cultural relics in collections and intangible cultural heritage.
This exchange and seminar is themed "Digital Empowerment · Cultural Renaissance", aiming to explore the future development direction of museums in a rapidly changing society.
Wang Bin, the general manager of Yiyun Digital Art Center, stated in the opening speech that the International Museum Day in 2025 calls for responding to social changes through the application of new technologies, the participation of young people, and the protection of intangible cultural heritage, which is highly consistent with the exploration and practice of Yiyun Digital Art Center.
Professor Wang Qijun from the Central Academy of Fine Arts started with successful cases of digitalization of museums around the world. He shared how the Central Academy of Fine Arts uses technologies such as digital modeling and 3D printing to assist students in artistic creation of exhibition space design, and also focused on introducing the exploration and application of the China Garden Museum in providing digital services to visitors.
Liu Shixue, the deputy general manager of Yiyun Digital Art Center, introduced the successful cases of cooperation between Yiyun Technology and leading cultural and museum institutions during the academic seminar session, and put forward the proposition of "telling the stories of intangible cultural heritage in a digital way". He also looked forward to exploring more possibilities of the integration of technology and culture through this event, by means of digital exhibitions, market fairs, research and study activities, and cultural and creative development, and working together with multiple parties.
During the academic seminar session, guests such as Lv Kang, Director of the Cultural Activities Department of the China Millennium Monument Art Museum, Jian Jie, a librarian at the Cultural Relics Protection and Management Center of Xicheng District, Zhang Conghui, Director of the Brand Promotion Department of the Beijing Gold Lacquer Inlaid Art Museum, Li Keming, a national representative inheritor of Ru porcelain, Teng Xiaobo, a professor at Beijing Institute of Graphic Communication, and Yang Yuan, a teacher at the Central Academy of Fine Arts, shared their research findings and practical experiences in the fields of cultural heritage and technology, decoding the "Museum Future Equation" from different dimensions.

In the immersive exhibition viewing session, the guests moved to the immersive light and shadow art exhibition areas of "Metaverse · Future World of Inspiration" and "Dunhuang Metaverse" created by BOE's ultra-high-definition display, multi-sensory interaction, AR/VR, AIGC and other technologies, and personally experienced the charm of the integration of digital technology and classic culture.
The works in the exhibition area perfectly integrate traditional culture with modern technology, not only demonstrating the innovation of digital art but also providing new ideas and methods for the inheritance of traditional culture.
In this event, the organizer specially invited intangible cultural heritage experts to give wonderful demonstrations of the guqin (a traditional Chinese zither) and tea ceremony in the exhibition area, attracting the attention of many guests. At the same time, the intangible cultural heritage experience activities in the cultural and creative area also gave guests the opportunity to unlock the subtlety of intangible cultural heritage techniques in person.
These event easter eggs not only allowed the on - site guests to experience the beauty of traditional craftsmanship up close, but also demonstrated the perfect combination of intangible cultural heritage and the digital art space, bringing new imaginations for the dissemination of traditional culture.
