Bo Sihan
Bo Sihan is an ambitious young female painter. She began to receive systematic painting training when she studied at the Affiliated High School of China Central Academy of Fine Arts in Beijing, China. She obtained bachelor's and master's degrees from the Oil Painting Department of China Central Academy of Fine Arts. Then she embarked on a full-time artistic career and held personal art exhibitions in many art galleries in different cities in China. In 2024, she entered the University of Macau to pursue a doctoral program in art.
Bo Sihan employs diverse artistic techniques and covers a wide range of themes in her works. Her painting creations involve everything from oil paintings on canvas to mixed media. Her works have been collected by academic institutions and art galleries for many times.

1. Awakening Dreams Series
Bo Sihan said:
Reality is the lucid dream, and memory is the eternity of the moment.
Awakening Dreams is my own complex and specific perception of the specific present (mood, light, shape and quality of objects, etc.) under the condition of withdrawal in my normal life, and then through the natural filtering and ascending of body, mind and brain, and then by the natural revealing of memory, so it is called "Awakening Dreams". The outer frame of each small painting was also made by hand, echoing some forms of stories with pictures. The natural feeling of peace and pleasure in the process of painting has added some Zen feeling to the work.
My body represents touch, my mind represents logic, and my heart represents intuition. The three are the records of the scene at that moment completed in a unified state. The whole "me" will feel, record, filter and express spontaneously, including the shape relationship, color relationship and image relationship 5 between the objects I choose, not deliberately pieced together, but naturally revealed.
The repeated capture of light imagery in the painting endows it with a characteristic of simultaneous sacredness and absurdity. The sacredness represents divinity, while the absurdity represents animosity, the combination of sacredness and absurdity embodies humanity. The painting records human nature, all stemming from life itself. Continuously perceiving life, observing existence, contemplating humanity, and using artistic means to create the eternal.

2. Dream of Zebra Finches Project
Bo Sihan introduced:
Zebra Finches, a common seed-eating bird in Australia and Indonesia. Scientists discovered that these birds’ vocal muscles activate during sleep, replaying fragments
of songs they sang during the day.
With guidance from Professor Gabriel Mindlin, who is focuses on the physical mechanisms of birds,Also make contribution in Information Sciences and Artificial Intelligence. I was fortunate to receive a clear 1-second nighttime sound template, which I extended to over 2 minutes using patterns from the paper.
Inspired by these findings, this project will use AI programing system to generate visual representations of the birds' dream, interpreting them through the birds' tetra chromatic vision. This four-color visual system enables birds to perceive a more vibrant color spectrum than humans, which is depicted in the resulting visual art.
I will combine abstract and figurative visualizations. The videos present dynamic, colorful patterns that mirror the birds' sensory experience, blending auditory and visual dimensions.

Bo Sihan said that in the irreversible torrent of life, people are constantly wandering between reason and desire, morality and impulse, good and evil. The weak willpower always wins by exploiting the strong willpower. The degeneration of human beings is a non-temporary process from essence to existence. The result of depravity is to withdraw from the essence of existence. And this state is a fact, and the world is constantly receiving it. Today's ready-made rights, money and reputation have made the whole human society generally slaved and the earth has lost its due meaning.
