Contract: In the 1980s, the author paid close attention to the research on the Pagoda of Yongning Temple in Luoyang, Northen-Wei Dynasty(386-534) and tried to discuss the possibility of the original situation, but stopped because of lack of data. In the 1990s, two scholars of architectural history carried out original restoration research on the pagoda of Yongning Temple on the basis of archaeological materials. After that, the author participated in the restoration of Yongning Temple Pagoda again due to a special reason. Based on the historical records of Yongning Temple Pagoda and the characteristics of the number "seven" existing in archaeological excavations, combined with the proportion rules of Chinese and Japanese pagodas in the tower body in similar times, complete a discussion of possible restoration of the original state. However, there have always been some doubts about the proportions and figures in this study. In the following years, the author reconsidered and reanalyzed the number "nine" in the records of the plane and the height of the tower body at the archaeological site, and the possible data control effect of this number in the ratio of the plane and height of the tower body. At the same time, the adobe center column of the tower in the previous restoration was also analyzed and discussed. This paper is the new paper based on this thinking and research.
